Eid

Eid, a young man from Rahat in the Negev, works in construction but is passionate about theater and dreams of writing and producing plays. His family forces him to marry Abeer, one of the town's girls, as part of a marriage exchange agreement involving him and his sister. Eid sees the marriage as a prison and begins to fight for his freedom within the limited options available to him. Secretly, he starts writing a play addressing his experience of being sexually assaulted as a child by a man from his town. Additionally, he is secretly in love with Dunya, a young actress living in Paris, who promises to help him achieve his dream. Eid travels to Paris to meet Dunya and pursue his dream, but…
